Newbie from South Carolina!

Hey everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself. I live in the upstate of South Carolina. I come to the truck world from a LONG obsession w/ RX-7's. I have always loved Tacoma's and finally converted after getting hired on w/ the railroad. Daily driving RX-7's since I started driving in High School just didn't fly w/ my new job. I will get another in time but for now I love my new truck.

Some of you may have noticed me trying to sell it recently. I see something, get excited, and act on a whim sometimes but thankfully I decided to keep my new truck. I don't think I'll be able to find another with the mileage, history, and cleanliness again if I regretted it.

On to the thread... a little bit of alcohol infused reminiscing. Sorry. lol.

My 1st car (1991 Mazda RX-7 non-turbo) modded mildly over my time of having it. I was/still fascinated w/ blasting mountain roads.





My 2nd car (1987 Mazda RX-7 TurboII) bought from the original owner @ 54k original miles. Modded from mild to a money pit... several motor setups. I REALLY regret letting this one go. Blood, sweat, and tears into this one.











My 3rd car (1994 Mazda RX-7 twin-turbo PEP). Even tho I loved my TII... the FD handled like a fucking beast. I absolutely loved this car ripping through the mountains.









...and now my 2004 Tacoma! It's a whole different kind of fun. I can't wait to do some mild mods and enjoy it even more as well as daily drive it. In time I might pick up another RX-7 and keep the miles off it.

I want to add the following:

-ARB bull bar w/ lights
-Mild suspension lift all around
-Wheelers (or similar) wheels in black
-Rock Sliders
-Aftermarket rear bumper
-Nice tires
-Skid plates

I've come to enjoy modest trail riding with it... I'm not interested in beating the shit out of it. Just enjoying it and off roading light trails. Where I took my girlfriend and proposed to her shortly after getting it.





Anywho... if anyone of you see this and are in the upstate of South Carolina or Western North Carolina and would like to meet up/hang out. I'd love to get more involved w/ the community and meet some new people. I wanna find new places and go where my past vehicles couldn't take me. lol.
