So heres the bed mounted goodies.

ORU Fuel Can Mount, used this rather than tradditional Jerry Can mount bucket, this does not take up any bed space when the can is not in there. Had to make a spacer to clear the tie down rail but worked out good.

Here is how it works out with fuel can, nice and tight, locked down good.

I hadn't given too much thought to making them to sell. I am a manager at a machine shop with a fab and weld department as well so I get to tinker with my own stuff on the weekends. I suppose if local people were genuinely interested in a custom set or had an idea that they couldn't get other places I would be happy to make it happen. The particular set I have on mine with kickout and filler plates was about 125 in material and 120 in powdercoat plus my time. Since it was a one-off set I'm sure it took much longer than other sets that are produced as a function of production. I would have to see what someone wanted and go from there. Best guess would be between 375-550 depending on complexity.

I went to Home Depot and picked up the shovel and axe, laid them out and figured how they would best fit. I machined the aluminum plates and threaded and heli-coiled them for strength, sent the out for hard black anodize. Oneof the knobs is just from McMaster Carr and the locking ones I found on ebay, they are typically for bike racks. I doubt that they are universal since they were made to fit the specific axe and shovel I have but they work for me.

Also like the winch mount. Do you have any pictures of how it's mounted?

I didnt take pictures of the inside mount before I reassembled the bumper but it is pretty basic. I removed the front aluminum backing bumper and used the 3 mounting locations on either side of the frame for the winch mount, I also used one of the lower holes that was available for extra strength, that required a 3/8 bolt about 4" long.
Basically its just 3 pieces. 2 side brackets, mirrored. 1/4" steel bent to a 90Âş and a baseplate that goes in between that is bent at 90Âş front and back. The baseplate has the mounting holes for the winch and slotted and thru holes in the front for the fairlead. I did slot the mounting holes for the winch because I needed to ba able to fine tune the location of the winch to clear the little tube that comes out of the radiator. I also had to divorce the solenoid on the winch but most winches are already like that, mine was not. The fairlead could be any fairlead really, I made mine because I could but a store bought would work.
I mounted the side plates and set the baseplate in the sweet spot and welded it up. Then put bumper cover back on, marked the two holes where the fairlead goes, ran a bolt thru the holes and traced the fairlead on the bumper, carefully jigsawed it out about 1/4" oversize and put the rubber trim on it for a clean finish.

    Thanks for the info!
I only bought the SR5 model so no lockers. Trying to keep the truck more stock and your winch mount would be perfect. Real clean looking.
