RR Diff Lock problem

My RR diff lock never stops blinking on my TRD 4x4 DC 08. I read the manual and it mostly explains how to set it for a manual tranmission. is it suppose to stop blinking? Or does it only lock when needed? not real sure how it works.!!

 

yeah i was in 4lo then tried to engage it. never stopped blinking. My ABS light came on and i heard some clicking noise as if something engaged. but it never stopped blinking.

 

if the light doesnt stop blinking its not in locked mode.keep trying it at dif angles and stuff.i had that with mine at first.might just need worked in and out a couple of times.good luck though.

 

are you just trying to get the light to stop blinking??

 

Mine had a bad switch that sits on top of the e-locker mechanism. I think it's the same type switch as the back-up light switch on the manual transmission.

 

are you sure you have 4wd...??
