TPMS assistance needed (Pic included)

    Hello all, I'm having trouble determining which TPMS sensor I need for the wheels pictured below, can any one advise?

    It's an 07' with the 17" wheels.

    I couldn't say which sensor you need for those, but what I do know is that I've been told by my stealership that the sensors from my steel OEM wheels wouldn't work on my aftermarket aluminums. Seem to be working just fine. Sorry I can't help with your particulars, but I'll bumpity anyhoo.

    They will work if you rotate them 180 degrees, but in the future you need to make sure that tire installers know this or they will destroy them breaking the bead.

    Another option is to go to standard stems and simply band the OEM sensors to the inside of the rim.

    According to the parts list it would be
    $82 42607-06011 Tire Valve Sub-Assembly
    42607-06011 (see attachment)

    It appears that this TPMS is used for ALL wheels for models 2007-2010. I would verify that with a knowledgeable mechanic - not service writer...

    BTW, there are after market replacements as well as EBAY that have them for 30-50 apiece.

    Yeah, the service guy at the dealer said I was going to have to either band them or buy new sensors (at $230/ea). The guy at Les Schwab (tire place) said that most newer aftermarket rims have been designed to allow them to fit. They definitely know what they're doing at that shop and had no issues re-using them.

    just put the tpms in a pressure vessel, and use rubber in the wheels. problem resolved. just keep tabs on your tire pressure, and you will be fine. :p

    Toyota running boards/Solid Fold 2.0/custom stickers/Anti-Dark LED light under hood/Derped grill/Scoop, etc.
    Guys.... be real careful..... The TPMS sensors made for aluminum alloy wheels WILL react with steel and mess you up big time.... I know.... I put a steel valve stem cap on my aluminum spare tire....with the salt and shit.... the 2 metals destroyed the TPMS sensor....

    There are seperate sensors for steel wheel and aluminum wheels.... mix them up and you will have problems eventually....Sooner if you drive in salt, etc...
