I took my 2006 4x4 v6 into my local dealer and they installed new front brake rotors, pads and new rear drums and shoes. Quiet as a church mouse now. The first time I took it in, the guy said that they took the nickel out of the metal on the rotors. I thought, maybe that could be true. It just seemed to be getting worse and I had enough of the squealing. I went back and talked with the female service writer and she brought in the shop manager. He said to bring it in and they would see what they could do. He said he has had problems with other ones. I'm very satisfied now.

small dent on the hood, new foglight bulb, roughed up bedliner, been smoked in, suspicious stains on the passenger seat, boogers on the drivers seat, dirty floor mats, girl doodles on the dirty windows, loose wiring
good to hear that all worked out for you, welcome to TeeDubya since you look new, judging by your number of posts lol

Hey, just a little afterthought. I've been told by service departments, brake shops, and friends that high end metallic brakes squeal. My 2002 Avalanche squealed from the beginning. But I got 5 years out of them. Another good thing is very little brake dust.
