    Search Hub-centric vs Lug-Centric.

    Q: What is meant by "hub centric" and "lug centric"?

    A: These terms refer to the systems used to mount the wheels on the vehicle. Hub-centric wheels are positioned on the hub by being located against a precisely formed surface on the hub itself. Lug-centric wheels are centered on the lug nuts.



    Meaning, a lug-centric space is slightly more likely to break off with the increased leverage on the lugs themselves, while a hub-centric disperses the weight both on the lugs and on the hub, like it should be.
