I have had an '09 Taco Access since last October and one of the few dislikes I have is the "blind spot" created by the extended cab. I almost got into a Caddy SUV on the interstate today changing lanes. I always try to rubber neck before changing lanes but this ride seems to have more of a blind spot than any I have had.

Anyone have some suggestions for a "blind spot" mirror that fits nicely in the Taco driver's side mirror?

P.S. If you added blind spot mirrors please tell us where you got them.

Tilt the passenger seat further back so you can see out the window. If its what I think you are talking about.

Other side. I have trouble looking over my left shoulder through the shoulder belt and the two roof posts.

One of the first things I noticed in the truck. I just went to Canadian Tire and grabbed a 2ish inch convex mirror for ten bucks. Don't even need to shoulder check now :D

I've seen those ones, but I have always thought it would be too strange having a convex mirror as the rear-view. Besides, if I'm driving with a full load, and thus relying on the side-view mirrors, it's especially nice to have the convex there instead.

Same here. That may have actually been the first "mod" I did.

I use a very small square one and it works really well. It is angled so that you can mount it on the inside of the mirror (side close to the truck).

I knew I would be putting a top on so I bought convex mirrors that stick to the lower outer edge of the side mirrors. Put them on as soon as I got the truck so I could get used to them. Wouldn't do without them.
