I have been looking for a tonneau cover (soft) and am having a difficult time figuring out how you would use the clamps required to install. Anyone have one that they like? Or a recommendation.

They don't use clamps, they use the rail system in some way or another. Some hold onto the rails, some like Access are fastened behind the rails with longer bolts.

mine has brackets that slide into the rail system. the brackets have a small bent up edge on them that the clamps attach to. drove 500 miles today and it didn't budge.
