He is a very happy boy!! I can never get over that smile!

WARNING for all that tie their pups up in the bed: DO NOT use carabiners! They easily come unlatched when the dog is moving around back there. My boy jumped out of my bed (when I was just rolling) cause of them! That was one scary afternoon!

Mine used to sit in the front seat till she got too big ( 40 lb pit/american eskimo mix) now she hangs out in the back seat on a big beach towel so I can shake off the dog hair/ dirt.

More often than not, when I came back to the truck this is what I found:

When i bought my 12' I went right home and got the dog and went for a ride. She mainly rides shot gun, she is a smaller dog but when i get a bigger dog i will have no problem letting them ride in the cab. I neeed to find some good seat covers and i would like to get ones that say TRD. I have a towel in the truck at all times incase she gets wet to i can wipe the paws and give a bit of a dry. Oh she found out quick how to roll down the windows so i must lock them when she is in cause i dont want it all the way down.... She might jump or fall out haha.

Well some stitching IMO doesn't make something custom, I bought one nearly identical at Ross for $20 bucks.

My two dogs travel the country with me. I have converted the access cab into space just for them. The bottom is padded and has a rug. I built a ventilated Lexan barrier similar to what you see in police cars between the acces cab area and the front. The barrier attaches to the back of the front seats, and latches into the factory seat latches in the back. It's easy to remove if need be. The Lexan is shatterproof in the event of an accident, and also has some give to cushion them in an impact. They each have a window and they get the benefit of the air conditioning in hot weather. It's very secure, safe, and comfortable for them.

I simply put down a mat in my 4 door. But since I split up with my gf...I bring my k9 to the front seat with me hahhaha. My airbags don't work so it's not too bad for him.

In the bed under the shell. Before I had the shell, they would ride in a kennel until we got to the dirt, then they just roam the bed. If for some reason I only have one dog and its cold out, they can ride in the back seat. Both of them in the backseat is a nightmare.

my back seats fold up against the back of the cab and i have a big quilt that is laying underneath them that she knows is her spot. 60 pound husky mix really tough dog but will freak the hell out if i put her in the bed, when she was a baby she had to have her leg operated on so she had to ride inside the truck in the front seat cause i couldn't leave her alone for very long for the first 2 weeks so she developed the bad habit early.

My partner rides the access cab with the seat stowed and a piece of rubber mat to level it out and keep it from being slippy
