Heading out to my first Tanner Gun show this weekend in CO and looking to purchase my first pistol. I've decided for either a 9mm or a .380, as I want my wife to be able to handle and learn comfortably without intimidation. For the last few weeks I've gone to different stores and held various handguns, and I like both the P250 and the PK380 a lot! Any fellas have shot either and opinions? Will I be able to find good deals at the Tanner show?

Not yet. The expo is this weekend. Hoping to find a good deal there on a pistol and safe.

Well, things change! I ended up picking up a Sig Sauer P2022 in 9mm for $399. I held all 3, and the SP2022 felt most comfortable right off the bat. For the price, I thought it was a great deal. For a new P250 the best deal I found was $429, and $420 for the PK380. It came down to the P2022 or the PK380. I didn't like the way the 380 magazine eject functioned and I thought a 9mm would serve better for home defense. Took it to the range right after and fired off a hundred rounds and gotta say it was definitely the right purchase!
