Well I looked into it and the big bear 400 is going to be a better fit for me than a grizzly 350. Now, for the pricing. The dealer told me he could sell it to me for 5800... after tax, out the door it would be like 6,800( or close). I'm not plannin on going back in there until august when im ready to buy. I plan on payin in cash on the spot. What are some things i could do to talk him down lower? I think im going to act like im split between the big bear and a rancher or something and say i can get the rancher for cheaper

Are you definitely set on a Big Bear???

    Ive got one...and a Suzuki Eiger 400...

The Eiger kicks the big bears ass in every thing...I hardly ever ride the Big Bear anymore...Only when the wife wants to ride with me...She wants the suzuki...so i have to take the BB....

The Suzuki was like 4600 - 4800 out the door...I really cant remember...But i know I didnt pay more than 5k for it...

Just my opinion having both of them side by side in the garage...

what's list price? the dealers around here are a bunch of *ssholes. with the economy the way it is, i'd lowball the hell out of them. they may tell you they can't go that low, but leave your name and number and wait till the end of the month/quarter...they'll call. get ahold of a Cycle Trader classified, find the lowest priced dealer in there and tell the guy you'll give him $200 over that. i'm pretty sure the dealers all get the bikes at around the same price, so if "this guy" can sell them for this, why can't you? if they aren't getting pissed off, you're not negotiating well enough. :D seriously. tell 'em they can make it up selling you overpriced parts and services. lol

    It's a buyer's market!!!

Yeah were pretty much set on the big bear. I'm just a yamaha guy. Suzuki does make some great fourwheelers though. Does your big bear fit in your dc? I have an access cab and was wanderin if it would fit. Length shouldnt be a problem, but width is my concern.

There wasnt a list price on that 4wheeler for some reason... he just told me what he "could' sell it to me for. go figure!

I had a 2000 taco access cab and it fit in there...Had it in there on the way back from the dealer...I had to drive over the fender wells though...I bought a trailer when I bought my Eiger, So I have no idea if either ATV will fit in the DC bed...They should...I'd make sure your tailgate is up to par though...Ive heard bad things about them bending...And if I remember right, the big bear wouldnt let the tailgate shut all the way...So im pretty sure it would be sitting on the tailgate in my new truck...

Yeah i've heard a few people talk about the tailgate bending. I THINK mine will be ok, but dont want to take much of a chance. I've loaded dads arctic cat 400 halfway into the truck, but it wouldnt fit. They are really big for being a 400. And a old honda 250. Neither of them bent it. I would like to get a trailer soon after i get the fourwheeler. Just gotta find one a like that I can load about 3 fourwheelers on. Thanks for the help. I cant wait to get this thing. Heres a picture of it
