I do a lot of cat fishing at night and I really enjoy headlamps for the task because it lets me go hands free constantly. I saw a fenix headlamp on new egg that was nice but has anyone had experience with this product?

I know cree makes good leds but I haven't heard of this light brand don't know if there junk or not but for the price it seems like it can't be beat. Comparable fenixs are in the 60-70 range on the same site

I also found this fenix tk35 that claims 800 lumens in a tiny light any input?

The cree headlamp is just gonna piss you off. That is just way too much weight on your head because of the battery pack and the fact that it uses 2x 18650 batteries.

The fenix tk35 isn't all that tiny. Its a good handful and definetly needs to be on a belt holster. Fenix is pretty honest on its lumen output. Coast usually exaggerated, and surefire is very modest on its output.

Keep the lights coming! This would be a good place for someone to decide on a flashlight.

Thanks, took a lot of time and effort to get the 870 how I wanted. I actually moved the light a little further back behind the choke. The light and lens where getting a bit caked from the blast.

I guess there are quite a few people on here with Redline flashlights. It's been almost a year and a half since I got mine and it's just now starting to die on me.

I can't get over the magnet on the bottom of it. Great thing to have for working under the hood at night. :D
