Bilstein 5100's on all four with some OME 885x's. Brute Force Fab front bumper. Warn winch. Koenig countersteers wrapped with duratracs.

if you scroll down you can see my lift i just finished up...billstein 5100s all the way around, old man emu 885 springs in the front, wheelers add a leaf for the rear, and down south motorsports UCA's.

I threw new rims on it (but they are the same size as stock, 16x8) and am able to fit 285/75/16 (33's). I had to do some minimal trimming but nothing crazy. Rides really nice.

lift wise for cost i pieced it together from other members here on the forum for the shocks and springs. total for them was around $400 (i think)

    wheeler leaf pack - 180 ( i think )

UCA's $515 (thanks to Marco at DSM)

    285 duratracs - 1000 installed

konig countersteer off roads - 800

-just to give ya an idea

You're right, but at 30k I'm all tapped out haha. I don't need something that can go offroad I just want something that will look cool beyond stock. I know, I know that cuts at the core of many purists around here, but hey I'm still in college and I can't add this stuff to my loan anymore, haha.

If you never go offroad , can I ask why you decided on the TRD Offroad ?

Better resell value than the Sport in my area and I do a lot of snow sports on the mountain so the rear locker helps getting out of the ditch on the mountain.

    Fair enough

For a bit more money , you could do an OME kit or Eibachs and Billies

I guess what I don't understand is, what's the advantage of spending more money? I mean if I don't off road a ton? And what voids your warranty?

Spacers lifts will typically ride stiffer than suspension lifts . It won't void your warranty in the US

    Background-
I have now had 3 lifts. I started with a spacer lift installed by les schwab, then I got set of kings front and rear and I just installed and OME lift kit. So I can talk from experience with being in every economic level of lift (minus long travel).

You are right that you made a large investment in the truck and I respect that you are now tapped out of money. I get it, I am a college student too.

If I could do it all again, I would not have purchased the spacer lift just because it was all I could afford at the time. Save your money and get a quality product that you wont want to replace down the line.

You said you hardly go off road and thats fine, but dont make it so you pretty much cant go offroad because of the lift you picked.

    3" Lift
I got the 3" tuff country from les schwab and i love the way it looks and it drives great for the price. It allowed me to fit 29570R17 and makes the truck look very slick its not ideal for major off roading but makes the truck look alot better than stock.:)
