    That's friggin' great ... never would have thought. I had painted my console black in week one but now that I look at that shifter .... damn, another project ... thanks from me ... my wife, not so much. :cool:

    I have the same shift knob but since it's shorter than the original, the stalk looks longer now. I'm thinking of cutting it down and rethread it, any other better idea is more than welcome because I don't even know if I can actually chop it off, maybe someone has made and sell a shorter version already?
