Xentec's ballast is all plastic and doesn't even have silicon over the internals.
Why the fuck would a company make a non-waterproof ballast?

I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
One of these is JLM and one of these is Autovision. Which is which?

Also, Chinese-Factory.com says Autovision is German.
    http://www.chinese-factory.com/autovision-slim-ballastphilips-telescopic-bulbbracket-p-335.html

    Description:
GERMAN OEM HID KIT - Same quality as other ones around $380,We also cooperate with Philips Bulb and HID

They also show a pic of an un-siliconed board and don't use the words "waterproof" or "water resistant" anywhere on the page.

But they are quakeproof capability tested.

Like Chris' oil filter thread. I like it. I have a few pics in my gallery and a few more broken pieces laying around that I can open up.

That would be a good idea that way people can also add pics of different brand ballasts and stuff.
I will do that. I have been swamped all day long

Everyone keep your eyes peeled tho.

Autovizion are NOT German. Most of
The people that say their kits are German ate lying

Unless the HID kit costs $300+ odds are it isn't German

Matter of fact, I was importing mass number of Autovizion from China a few months back
Amazing quality kits and definitely the most slim ballast on the market. Not German tho
