    Dear all,

I'm back in the truck saddle again. Kids grown, no need for 4 (real) seats, and after a short Honda Element/Toyota 4 Runner hiatus, I'm back. I had a '92 Extended cab with the R22E engine (drove it for 150K then gave it to my brother in law who wrecked it within six months), bought a T100, drove it for 100K then "gave" it to my shop for a store vehicle (still going strong), then went away from trucks for a while.

SO glad to be back. Wet dogs - no problem. A pile of canoe and kayak gear - no problem. Emergency nap at rest stop - no problem.

I pick it up tomorrow. SR5 Sport Model Access Cab. Don't need all the TRO stuff. Cap is already ready. Yakima racks set aside with a drill and two fully-charged batteries.

About me: I own a shop called Rutabaga in Madison, Wisconsin, a canoe and kayak and camping specialty shop. I'm a paddler from way back, started for $5.50 an hour as a side job to my real one in 1990. Now I own the place. The American Dream still exists.

If you have any rack questions, I also own the website Cartop.com.

Excited to be part of this community,

    Darren

A group buy for racks is definitely do-able. :) Picked up my truck last night, got the cap today and I'm drilling and installing tracks tonight.

    Cheers, DB
