yeah, but this tv came w/ a system cable that is a dvi-d and some audio cable that are moulded together... the audio cable looks almost like an hdmi connector but w/ finger interlocks... .. so if i took the time to figure out what kind of connector it is, i guess i could buy a better one and a better dvi-d cable, ..but at this point, ..given all the money i've spent on this project and getting a new computer tv/monitor setup, ...i'll probably just live w/ it for now

yep, it's an older sharp aquos (great tv!, especially for it's time) it was designed w/ a separate a/v console box that handles all the inputs/switching (you put this on a table or floor, etc), and sends just the vid/audio up to the panel/monitor... it was one of the thinest LCDTVs of it's time... :)

...unfortunately plenty of other unfinished projects i need to finish! i'll mark this one finished, to bolster morale! :D

you got that right! hopefully i won't be messing w/ it again for a long time, if ever!

well, got my other set of midlite outlets/cord for another in-wall pwr install - this time for my computer monitor... got the NM cabling in place and stripped, ..this is all that's left, ...so maybe i'll be finishing another little project here soon..
