Good work OP. I would be surprised if I got to 270 without my light on. 10% ethanol year round really sucks.

Best I've ever got was 360 if I recall. That was bone stock and driving very light on the pedal. That won't ever happen again as long as this rack is bolted to the roof.

Ok, $77 later the first round of summer fuel is now in the tank! T'was the second tank in a row over 400 miles and the light came on at 376 this morning. Now time to get down to business with the good stuff.

It is darned nice to only have to fill up every 2 weeks. I can make it that long if I carpool the grocery run. My commute is over 20 miles one way and that can get expensive if I let it, so mpg matters.

edit: not gonna happen this tank. I may as well have filled up with corn whiskey. I hate it when stations dilute their gas.

I don't feel bad now. That's what I'm getting with a ton of added weight and shit traffic

I head out to Boone at least once a year... 20 mpg there is pretty damn good, especially considering the extra weight from your bumper. The Boone area is one of my favorites... I'd gladly trade worse mileage to live there.

I love it up here!! The 60 mile trip down and back up the mountain for work sucks.. But I still average 18mpg.

I'm looking to move down your way when I can find an IT career there..
