Have a question for ya guys who know more about this than I do. I am looking to sell my Glock 23, however, I am unsure as to how to go about it.

If I sell over the internet or even on TW,

Do I have to ship it from a FFL? Or can I ship it to the buyer's FFL?

Or does it have to be shipped from a FFL to another FFL.

    I hope thats not confusing.

If the pistol is going to be sold in your state you do not have to have a FFL for the sale

If it is sold to someone out of state, you have to have an FFL handle the transfer

Even if you sell it to someone in state, it is in your best interest that the buyer is within the law to make the purchase, if the buyer has a current carry permit, most likely you will be fine

    Hope this helps

    alright so just to clarify,

If I am in Ohio, and sell it to someone out of state, do i have to go to MY FFL dealer in Ohio and have them ship it tot he FFL dealer in the other state or

Do I just ship it to the out of state FFL Dealer?

i think handguns must be shipped via overnight method... i'm not 100% sure, ...probably you'd need to have your FFL ship to the other FFL, who would then do the transfer to the other guy...

if you get a chance, try at http://forums.buckeyefirearms.org/ , ...should be able to get specific info...
