This is true. I haven't inquired about that option yet, as I'm still on the fence about buying. But a good option, if they'll do it.

Ack! I bet my LP Filter is set to 30Hz. Also, when I turn the gains up, i'm sure the amp will have the power to be able to reproduce those low freq's better. I am officially recommending this subwoofer. It jams.

Ooohh. LPF set to 30Hz doesn't help, that's for sure. I've got one more question for you, regarding this sub. How's the bass? Genereal question, I know. What I mean is, is it sloppy and just loud for the sake of being loud? Or is it more musical, and can handle the transients like a double bass in metal?

No it's very accurate bass...I would not describe it as sloppy at all. I love this subwoofer, I can throw whatever I want at it. Sundown ftw.

That's awesome. I'm glad you're loving the sub, I hope the amp works out for you as well. Did you adjust the LPF down from 30Hz yet?

For me, in the end, I think I'm going to go with the JL W3. Kind of a "devil you know" thing. I just feel it's too risky for me to try this sub out, and if I don't like it, I'm kind of stuck with it. I'd be putting money out on shipping, that I'll never see again, and I just can't get past that. Living in Canada sucks sometimes, and this is one of those times. Thanks for all the info though, and rock on.
