    Thanks Garrett!!!

I did see this diagram before but i that time i was only contemplating a All Manual System. So i skipped past it. i ggled and found it again in TTORA and it was under the rear locker heading... so now i learned that all the actuators are the same! Perfect!

do you still have the TC for sale? how much shipped to L.A.? :D
also, do you have the bolts for it to mount on the AutoTran?

Also, Thanks for the tips! I do plan to change to Manual Lock but i'm taking it a step at a time. and last question, do you think i can shift to 4wd "on the fly" with this setup?

    Much Appreciated,
    CK

Sorry no more parts left lol But yeah all setups can shift to 4wd on the fly.

But remember to stop and put it in neutral for 4lo.

I finally got my transfer case(s), i got both a manual and a motorized one. (arriving friday)

what should i look for to make sure they are ok and functional.

I was able to test the manual one. (still looking for a shifter) I was able to shift from 2Hi to 4HI to N to 4Lo. so far it seems to be tight. the only thing is i can hear the chains moving (from the shifter hole). i opened the fill hole and checked the chains and they seem ok. has some slack but that i believe is normal. Tcase seems like a virgin (i mean not opened).

Any ideas on what else to check for?

I did a search but i couldnt find anything as to what the difference is between the Manual and the motorized Tcases. do you know of any aside from having a motor?

    Thank You!

Yeah that sounds exactly the way my manual t case was and I checked it the same way you did, and it works great on the truck, the motorized one will have a few more wires and plugs but you can check that it will shift in and out of 4hi and 4lo. but if they look too be in good shape on the outside, they probably are good, the t cases are very reliable both of them. just change the oil, and on that check for anything suspicious in the oil.

Thanks Sarge, I havent really been able to see my ECU yet.

Did you get to see yours? will it have the 4X4 marking on the sticker ? or not? or more importantly. will it have the 4WD/L4 pin outs. I was hoping to do a 2-4 pushbutton conversion but now i doubt it.. but i'll settle for a electric ADD type with manual J shift.
i do see that i'm partially wired for the Jshift already.
