Should I take added equipment off when I trade-in?

    Take it off and sell it. All your performance and suspension mods are worth nothing on a trade in and may even hurt your trade in price

    I just spent the last week removing toys from my Mustang, including the aluminum gas cap. My wife said, "You're taking off the gas cover?". Yup, because even if I only get $10, that's more than the dealer will give me. I left on the lowering springs because I don't have the time to take them off, and the dual exhaust because it cost more to replace than what I'd get. I also left the headers on because the amount of time to take them off vs what I'd get for them wasn't worth it, especially when I can probably get a few bucks for the stock exhaust manifolds. My time and effort is worth something.
