    No, it was his doggy pillow, not a car seat. The trip was fun, that's for sure.

    I only used 4x4 twice during the trip, first time somewhere in B.C. at night on the mountain road, there was about a foot of mixed snow, I could have made it without 4x4 but it did give me more control. The second time, to get up the drive way at the house where I currently live. It all depends on the time of the year you make the trip. Also on weather. 90% of the way the road was clear when I went through. The roads are mostly clear but when you get off the road for gas and rest, the parking lots are for the most part snow and ice.

    I've made this trip, cept it wasn't so snowy! I did it in June, from Homer to Colorado. Saturday morning 8 am till Thursday midnight. 4056 miles.
