I woud've gone with a hard tonneau that locks but this one looks way perfect! I can't wait for some finished install pics. Sorry I'm not too much help.

^The problem with a hard tonneau is if you use your truck bed for things taller than the bed sides. I use mine for all kinds of things and a hard tonneau would end up being a problem for me. Honestly, the only reason I needed a bed cover is to keep a stroller and softball equipment dry and the Access Literider is perfect for that. But for security and a clean dry bed, you can't beat a hard cover.

Wilson, you should consider a popNlock tailgate lock. For $36, it's a great security feature. Obviously they can rip right through the cover but its a good deterrent.

And I agree...the hardtop would be a pain in the arse. Looks good but it has to be stored somewhere when off and you never know when you need to haul something in the back that is tall.

Sorry guys I had a mixed up. I thought we were talking about literiders vs access roll up.

In that case the LE is a very good buy as well. The literider does not come with the weatherstripping.

Done, took me about 90 minutes, but took my time. I never installed the front weather strip when I installed one on my Dakota 7 years ago. I don't think it came with it.
Actually it was a lot easier than installing it on the Dakota, not using those clamps was a big help, those took the most time.
    thanks for all the help.

Can someone with one of these do me a huge favor? Can you measure how far IN the mounting bracket extends on the bed rail? From the inside edge of the rail (excluding the cargo slide) outward toward the outside of the truck. I'm trying to figure out if there's enough room to mount these AND keep the brackets for my bestop installed. Thanks.
