it's in the hardware itself, you could remove the component that mirrors it, but.. at 20bucks might be better off with a new one, but yea i agree it is a cool for offroadin, gl!

You could always mount it in the center of the bed on the rail to look behind you going down the road. IDK what for but an idea.

i could always mount a mirror on my grille, spin the camera around so my video is then reflected through a mirror correcting the left/right aspect of my display!

i've seen that some head units have options to mirror the image or flip it within the unit itself..would be nice if my jvc had that option!

yea i checked that out this morning after getting into this more and could not find a setting...even looked at my manual on the unit and they didn't mention it...would have been a nice feature to have now! haha

i can change all sorts of display options like brightness, contrast etc..multiple zoom options, and aspect (full screen, panoramic, full) but nothing to do with the video input...

so i'm going to try connecting into my aux input, then if that doesn't work, going to have surgery on the camera and see what happens when i move wires around..

so i got a new camera..

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CTKYB4/ref=oh_o00_s00_i01_details

    because it said

"Note: This camera has a normal image which can be adjusted on the monitor connected with it."

just plugged it in...and !MAB reversed image again... :bananadead:

no options in the head unit to switch...was hoping it would be a simple swap like that, but nope...still gotta try the aux input route and see how that goes..

You need to cut the green wire near the camera to switch the mirror setup
