Does Toyota ever read TW?

    Personally I bet they do. Or at least take a look at some of the visual mods that we do. I thought that the instant I saw a pic of the 2012 Tacoma. Black valance a common mod done. A grille that you could put lights behind without much light being blocked by the crossbar. I'm sure there are more little touches that I've missed. I could be wrong but you never know.

    i also noticed a few interior pieces painted black like a lot of members have done to their pre-2012's (center arm rest, window switch panels, radio and climate control surround)

    this forum represents probably less than 5% of tacoma owners. they dont care whats in here, nor should they.

    I highly doubt Toyota brass reads TW.

    although, my guess would be the designers and decision makers have those who do market research for trends and movements. possibly, someone in the lower levels of market research...possibly not even directly associated with Toyota...cold have a look at TW as well as other outlets, internet, trade mags, etc.

    but, to believe someone working directly for Toyota would log on regularly to TW to see the latest mods, opinions, concerns, etc...is hard for me to wrap my mind around.

    We aren't the only people that look at tacomas like secks! How many old people have you seen driving them, or work rigs??! Toyota has a good rep and why would they look to one group of people who think they know better or instead look to (all) and how can we make the most money! As that's all thIs world is!!!
