My air filter was super dirty..hadn't cleaned it from the last desert trip. and its clean now. I took my MAF out yesterday and that tear drop looking thing it was pretty dusty so I used electronic cleaner on it and put it back in after it dried....ran the truck for about 10 minutes and it seems to improve the idle a little bit. From what I've read it takes quite some times for the ECU to adjust. Is that correct?

Have you checked your air intake/body throttle? That might be the problem for your low idle, since it could be dirty. My father's sequoia had the same problem but only that it would turn off since it was not running on its own.
I have this product and if you use it, this might help you out more. most of it can be just cleaned with a towel.

Hope this helped, and good luck with your taco.

Reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 10-15 mins. Your truck will start with high RPMs and slowly drop until it settles. Hope this helps.

so after cleaning my throttle body like spaniard suggested, my truck isn't idling super low to the point it shuts off anymore, but I still wish it was higher. I still feel like something is wrong. The idle sits at about 150-200 when in drive or reverse at idle. Shouldn't it be more than that? I wonder if the motor in the throttle body is bad. Would this work on my truck? Looks the same and from a v6 lol
