2.7 4 cyl needs performance parts

I have my 2004 Toyota Tacoma and I have been looking for more ways to throw more power in to it, so far I have a K&N air intake and a Flowmaster 50 exhaust, I noticed a little but I cant seem to find other parts for this engine any where. Help please.

 

Look into a header?

 

Supercharger is the only big gain.

 

I though about some headers and the supercharger, the cost of it isnt worth the power at all

al you really have left is a header and a proper tune for those mods. you might be better off with a factory intake and hi flow filter, not sure the intake configuration on the 1st gen 4 cylinder intake assembly. also the exhaust might not be doing much as far as low end performance...the 2 mods you have should be helping on the top end.

 

turbo it or sell it and buy an S-Runner.

 

Yeah that is all it helps on it high in, from about 3500 rpm and up it launches like a rocket other then that it is shitty, I thought about just dropping a 350 small block in it and just doing a big project on it.

has it? my question is how much with it cost and what kind of mods would i need to do or if i would need to cut the fender wheel welds out or what?

Okay thanks man, that would be legit, the fenders are going to be cut out any ways because I am putting a long travel kit on it soon any ways.

that is sick, the only bad part about it, is it looks crammed in there, I would rather want something that looks clean, i bet it sounds good though
