Using 303 Aerospace on Spray Painted Surface?

    Posted this in the detailing section... seeing if my 1st gen brethren might have a quicker response....

    I'm about to spray paint (still trying to determine which kind) my center console/cup holder assembly and shift boot trim black.

    But I would like to be able to clean it using 303 Aerospace.

    Will wiping 303 on it mess up the paint?

    I highly doubt it would mess up the paint. I use that stuff on everything. Or do you mean you are trying to clean up the surface before spray painting? If that is the case, I wouldn't do that because that stuff leaves a film and makes the surface super slippery. Don't know how well paint would adhere after you do that.
