    For what it's worth, I towed a motorcycle/trailer weighing a little over 2000 lbs total and was getting about 15 mpg. 2012 SR5. It towed very easy.

    When pulling my boat with a load of camping gear (Approx. 2,000 pounds) I get 16 MPG at 70 MPH, 20 MPG doing 60 MPH.

    bone stock except tool box in bed
    4cyl or 6cyl...? Ive seen/ heard of 4cyl DC towing that size load and getting 15 mpg and the V-6 the same

    usually this is the case, but my 4x4 gets 23-24 mpg normally. When I tow the 2000 plus uhaul trailer 900 miles in 2 weeks time, I guess I will know for sure what the mpg will be
