    I also find it amusing to note that the differential on that thing is a monster compared to our trucks, even though the 90s-era F-150 was similar in size and actually less powerful than a late model 4.0 Taco.

    Say what you want about Ford, but they don't skimp on the business end of their trucks.

    also loog at the lug nuts. looks like it has about 8. not sure....

    I only asked for pic of the other truck because the OP mentioned two trucks that both lost axles in the accident.

    seems like a legit question if two trucks are referenced but only one truck is pictured.

    also, keep in mind...at the point in the thread of my question, I had no idea of any fatalities.

    and the "fanboy" comment was made because it seems quite obvious that the OP has no intention of the thread being about the accident...but rather the thread being about how the Fords are lesser of a truck compared to others.

    Truck in pic would be a 1999 or newer super duty. Looking at pic I'd say the u-bolts broke. That kind of accident would of ripped out the rear end of anything.
