    I'm in the same boat, there are just too many choices. But I've found that getting a stripped lower is proving more difficult than I thought.

    my 700 will be the varmint with the heavy barrel. I am having it customized with a Mcmillan stock, trued up, Weaver or leupod optics, Harris bi-pod and take the plate off so I can use a mag.

    On this gun it is not really the cost of the gun, it's feeding that monster. I could probably afford about 10 seconds of ammo.

    Next purchase will be pistol for the wife. I just bought Taurus TCP in .380 for $199 + tax. Can't beat that. If it shoots good, then I will get one for the wife as well.

    Then it will be Mosin nagant. Cheap, reliable and fairly accurate to use for hunting;

    [IMG]

    Lastly on the list is VZ-58. Looks like AK47, but way better :D

    Sucker shoots 6" left and 2" high and, of course, I didn't bring the right screwdriver to adjust the sights. Only had 180 grain cartridges so I'll try some other sizes before adjusting the elevation.

    Argh!
