    about all the "you buying a taco" questions;

    i'd LOVE to when i get back home from gtmo, but all i've heard are bad things about the ride quality and durabilty of them. :shrug: i didnt want to believe any of it. eventually i wanted to find out from actual toyota owners and see what they have to say about it and this is reason #2 that i joined TW.

    can anyone clue me on on what the deal is with people talking that crap about the taco? it's not necessarily GM owners either.

    The tacoma isnt perfect

    but in terms of the mid-sized market, you can't buy a better truck

    Welcome!

    I was the biggest Chevy fan, had 72 Camaro, 04 Camaro, 85 K5 Blazer, an S10, Silverado, and almost bought a Colorado. Then, I drove a Tacoma, and I had to have it. I'll never go back.

    i think i told you before, but my dad has an '02 silverado, basically a 2500, but its not the reinforced frame or whatever. still got the 6.0 in it. it's leveled and still has stock tires and all. a lift would probably help it. i used to love the way the thing rode, real smooth, fine going over bumps, and lots of get-up. but after i got my tacoma i realized, in comparison, his silverado has a shitty ride and is a fucking slug. but that's like apples and oranges i guess. but i know the colorados are pieces of shit. and that's a more similar comparison. i've riden in a few new gen tundras though, and it beats the hell out of that silverado my dad's got! :p
