New to the club.

Hey everyone,
I just bought a new 2012 MGM TRD Off-Road Tacoma! I've been looking at all sorts of vehicles for awhile but really thought a Tacoma was right for me. I finally found one with everything on it I wanted and the perfect color in my opinion. I had a black 2009 Off-Road Tacoma while overseas and absoultely loved it. Of course, mine doesn't have thick ballistic glass and 7.62 proof doors like the one over there did
But I'll say this, after seeing the torture we put a Tacoma through over there and it not give us a single problem (minus the clogged up cab filters 24/7) I was once more reassured it was a capable, dependable vehicle and the right choice for me.
I just sold my 2004 Pontiac GTO a few months ago, and I really enjoyed that car but for right now I wanted to move into something more useful and liquidate something I wouldn't have the time for. I tend to keep my vehicles mostly stock but maintain them like no other. I'm excited to get to know everyone here, maybe meet some locals (Bloomington, Indiana) and hoping to add value to the forum. Sorry for the long windedness but I just wanted to thuroughly introduce myself

P.S. Try not to laugh too much at my dress socks covering my mirrors. There's a small agressive male robin about to be "taken care of", then all normalness will resume.
