The chart is not exactly accurate.

    Factory HID burners are 4300k.

I've got 6000k in my bike, and DDM sent me 8000k in error and I ran them for about a year in my Blazer.
The 8000k were okay, but the blue was noticeable from the driver's seat on the road... and if I can see it on the road, a cop can see it.
I can't really tell the difference between the 6000k on my bike and the Silverstars in my wife's Rav4.

    Of course he does.

How else can a kid his age afford to throw that much money into his truck?

If he doesn't live with mommy and daddy, then my 2nd guess would be one of the less-bright members of the military.
Free room and board... the paycheck is bank money to buy a house when they get out in 4 years... but there's a reason for the phrase "spending money like a drunken sailor", and I see way too many members of our services pissing away their future trying to impress slutty little girls with shiny things, when they should really be trying to impress young women by showing how responsible they can be.

This attitude is what is wrong with our society today.

Lighting can be deceiving; you may not see as much as you think you do.
