Tire Fitting Question

Hello i am looking at a set of pacer juice 6 20 inch rims with 305/50 nitto terra grapplers for my 2008 rugged trail dc.What is the least amount of lift/ trimming needed to clear them without much rubbing. Also what kind of gas mileage would be expected with this wheel/tire combo.

I'm not sure exactly... your tire will basically have a 32" diameter, and I've heard that the largest tire size you can run without lift and on stock wheels is about a 31.6" (265/75-16) tire; so it might be a bit close as far as tire height but I think the the deciding factor on how much you have to trim will be the offset/tire-width combination. Lots of folks on here are running those Nittos TGs, try doing a few searches in the "search for thread".

I recently put a 3" kit on my truck. I was wondering what would be the biggest tire I could run on stock wheels 16" without rubbing. And would I benefit from spidertrax wheel spcaers too run a bigger tire on stock wheels 285 possibly.

Exactly wat width are 305 and is anyone running them

 

I'm running 305 40/22 Cooper Zeon ATZ's on my '06 with the Bilstein 5100's set one down from the top setting. I only have minor scrubbing at full steering turn. I believe 305 is the measurement in millimeters of the tires width.
