What the heck is Twitter?

ok seen a video of youtube making fun of some social networking site called twitter. so i just joined it thinking it was like myspace or facebook. Its completely weird. Anyone use it or know how it works?

I havent heard of it but Zenzuu is the same thing.


but they are supposed to GIVE you money for however many friends you become netwroks or something.

 

It's an over-the-top service for people who want to know what you're doing ALL THE TIME!

Here's how it works: You sign up for a Twitter account. Then, other people 'subscribe' to your Twitter. You send 'updates' (short messages... 140 characters or less, I think) to your Twitter using text messages or emails or signing in to the Twitter site directly and those messages are forwarded to all subscribers via text or email or whatever they want.

It's freaking rediculous and unnecessary, IMO, but then again, I don't even do the text messaging thing.

 

yeah, i deeply regret joining it now, its so freaking dumb. I mean who wants the whole world to know what your doing ever 5 seconds? It's so gay. It definitely reminds me of some people.

 

Works best for businesses that want to tweet their rss feed.
