    Stupid law.

How about we just enforce distracted driving laws? A mother tending to a baby, a person reading, or a person trying to eat are just as distracted as a cell phone user.

When cell phones first came out I saw the destructive potential in them. When I got a cell phone of my own I appreciated that it gave me "connectivity on the go".

Now I won't lie I do talk on the phone when I drive but my conversations are usually brief. If its longer than 2 minutes I plug in my headset while at the red light and talk hands free. I also use speaker function which allows me to drive and talk hands free.

Unfortunately in 2000 whatever year they added texting to phones. Great feature to have IF YOU ARE NOT DRIVING. If it was legal to kill drivers who text while driving... I would be yielding a rocket launcher on front of my truck and putting rest of the world out of misery of having to live with a burden of people who do not know better.

My naughty list consists of the following:
    -Texting drivers
-Parents that drive alone with a newborn/toddler in back seat and stretch out their entire body between driver's seat and rear of the vehicle while not paying attention to the road.
-drivers that ride with dogs and other pets on their lap.
