    Hmmm... interesting...

I must research this joint to see if it's friendly for my little Taco... :D

Might be nice to do a little offroading before my first oil change...LOL

...and for those concerned about wiring in their CB radios...

The CB, adaptor and antenna is $105 together. Decent price to be able to plug and play. with no wiring. ;) I'm taking this path to minimize the install, yet still have the option on the odd time I want the CB.

I used to go all out, but gave that up a while back... ;) Might have to pick it up again, though... it WAS fun!

Had one, died in a year. Has great features, but it's really quiet and I hated having to fish around for it, especially in the dark (only has a momentary light button). There's an add-on for a combo mic/pa thing that's about the size of a fortune cookie that adds a lot of volume, but I can't find it.

don't ask why fortune cookies are my unit of measurement tonight...

lol this is getting bigger than the June TSF meet.

It's getting pretty big, folks at Safeway will be like :eek::eek:. I like you're idea of splitting up runs/groups based on interest or affiliation. Looks like we need to update the list again.

Lovely...so I'll use it once and it'll die before I use it again... ;) LOL I need to buy some Crown Royal...not to dull the buyer's remorse, but to get a velvet bag to keep the damn CB in...

As for your unit of measure...take heart. It could be a lot worse...you could have reverted to...METRIC! :D

Keep your receipt, the warranty lasts a year. Mine was a gift so i didn't have any proof of purchase.
It's a very popular radio, and I know of several people using it. Hopefully I'm one of the unlucky few. I really wish I could find the name of that mic I'm talking about, it really enhances the usefulness

I am smiling upon this...looking forward to getting out to see how badly i can get stuck. just got my truck stuck at home a couple days ago. the ground was a little soft and turned to mud before i turned to 4x4. pull out a come along and pull her out. not that it will be needed, but i'll bring my new come along with me. it has a 6 ton rating. Overkill? maybe, but one must be sure to be able to pull a truck out.

Hell yeah! Better safe than sorry. I know some guys have winches and I just picked up some recovery gear, so if anyone gets stuck we should be good to go :)

i also have a few chains and 30' 20k lb rated strap. last company i worked for unknowingly donated a few chains to me, and i picked up a few shackles and a hook to make them more useful. if i get stuck, it won't be for long.
