Wow. Maybe roids or concussions played a roll in it?
Edit: Just a guess of course. Those were the first two things that came to mind.

Pretty sure he was in some deep shit... I have a buddy who went to his restaurant last year on his honeymoon, and Juniors dog bit my buddy in the face, had to have a fuck ton of surgery and has been in a legal battle since...

Heard he left behind 3 kids, an x wife, other family members. If you blame concussions or whatever, just remember the NFL gave him the fame and fortune that very very few people can ever dream of and being able to provide so much for his family. No matter what shit he was in, I think he took cowards way out.

He had it all, and within the course of a few years lost everything. It's sad as I grew up watching him and being a fan of him. He used to be such a contributor to the San Diego community, and then he just kind of faded away.

Certainly makes you wonder whether repeated head trauma could contribute to depression and eventual suicide.

I was saddened to hear this before taking off for the weekend.

I wouldn't be too quick to blame this on repeated head trauma. He's had other issues in his life that could have lead to serious depression as well.

For now, I am sad he chose suicide. As for it's being the "coward's way out"? Things have to get pretty serious for the person to believe that's the only way out. Depression and suicide are pretty serious and finding help, even though it's readily available, isn't always easy.

RIP Junior Seau and condolences to your family and friends.
