Alright. It's off-roaded frequently. I'd rather lessen my tire size wants to avoid the hammer...

Can I get an answer on the biggest tires I can fit on 15" wheels with 4" of backspace. Without rubbing, BFH, cutting or welding. metric or standard measurement is fine.

I searched, I swear. Lots of conflicting answers.

    Mucho thanks.

the farther out the back spacing, the more fender rub you'll get while turning. the less backspacing you have the more on the frame.

3.75'' BS on a 10'' wide rime is the best way to go.

Either way, i don't care what ppl say, you will have to do triming and you will always rub with 33s. There is not way around it. The truck wasn't made for tires that big. so be ready to trim and bang up the truck with a hammer to get them to work right.

not that its not worth it. i love my 33s

    31's.
But just keep in mind its really simple to minor trimming if you have an angle grinder. You can hardly tell i cut mine because all the cuts are under the flare. Sucks to get new tires and really want the next size up. With 33x10.50s you should only need to hammer the pinchweld.

Why you so against teh hammer? It will literally take you like 5 mins to do and 33's are well worth it if you wheel, imo.

I guess because of my 8 year old, cherry, 50K mile, one owner truck. That I have been searching for for 2 years finally found it's way to me...

It's kinda like bitching slapping my beautiful wife because she has perfect C's and has no plans for the DD's...

That's the closest way I feel about....

I'll lurk and ask questions. But in reality I'm a N00b with lifted trucks. I appreciate your guys answers and knowledge. But in reality it's hard to take a hammer to dem titties.

    Thx again.

I feel what your saying, but it's just a wheel well :)
Could go with a happy medium with a 32" tire?

Alright guys. Thanks for the replies. I'll just go with 32x11.5x15 with 4 inches of backspace...

Bought a hammer after seeing the pinch weld tutorial. Yeah doesn't look like a big deal.

But hopefully won't have to use it with these tires.

    Thanks again.
