Soooooo, Here is a photo that we snapped on our hike throught the Valley of the Moon. I believe that this barbed wire fence is the actual border. You can see many paths that go through this section headed south into Mexico. A satelite view on Google Maps shows the trail for the Valley of the Moon dipping south below the border for one section which I think is the section pictured below.

Im almost got lucky and Craigslisted a Napier Tent for $100 but it was for the 57044 model. Measuring my truck bed it measures 61" which comes to 5ft 1inch and the model 57099 says it fits a 65" bed... According to Napier sizing, its a 5.42 length...

Will 3 inches actually matter or does it fit perfect?? Thanks

Also, you mentioned the model of the tent being 55099 compared to 55044... did you mean 57?

I think I read somewhere that you can take the tent off your truck and leave it set up at your site to go wheelin, and then just lift it back onto your truck when you return. True or not?

I was curious about the same thing. I have several trips this year that I'd love to use a set up like the Napier.

Question I have, does the company make a tent to fit a '12 long bed double cab taco?

Looks great on your truck, congrats and great pictures!

This is a great find! Here I was thinking I couldn't sleep in the 5' bed. With the gate down, 6-1/2'. I'm getting one.
