rear differential oil 2010 tacoma

    Billistein 5100 front/rears, Toytec 2" AAL Custom grill, All Pro rear bumper, All Pro sliders, Anytime elocker/foglights, Rear diff vent relocated, W/O seat covers, weathertech mats/visors, nfab tire racK, cobra 75 stealth CB, Custom engine/trans skids 3/8", Hella and HID behind grill, LED bar backup light, LED pods under cab (rocklights)
    What type, and how much oil goes in my rear diff???
    2010 tacoma 4x4 with elocker posi rear.

    Manual calls for
    $30 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75w-90 and somewhere around 3 qts IIRC, you can find the amount in your manual. Fill her up level with the fill hole. Don't worry about any special oils, you have an e-locker, not a posi so you need just regular ass oil. Loosen fill plug before drain plug.

    I wasn't sure if the rear diff locker (elock) made any difference in what/how much fluid.
    3qts of 75w90 will do it ?

    I can't over fill it....? Just go til its at top ??

    A-TRUCK, Fat Kid in the Bed, Custom Pinstriping, Ported and Polished Muffler Bearing, Hi-Performance Bed Mat
    85-140 for the rear diff for hard use (i.e. offroad travel or frequent towing). Mileage will suffer a little bit.

    75-90 is fine for the front diff and t-case.
