Haha, nice one Dwayne....you should've camped too, you could have heard my lovely "opera" in the middle of the night.

Good driving out there, I can't believe your mudflaps survived!!!

    Hey all,

Without being dramatic, I want to apologize for myself this weekend. I want to make it clear that this is not how I want to portray myself.

Put simply, Saturday night I drank too much, and paid heavily for it on Sunday. I wasn't able to fulfill my obligations of being at the Safeway in the morning, and I'm embarrassed to have broken one of my 'life rules' at the age of 31. I'm not blaming anyone else, and this measurement is mine. For anyone that I let down, I will say that I hope this will not destroy your faith in the NW TW community.

Beyond myself, I want to make sure that my goal is to promote events that encourage safety, family, and responsibility. I am committed to reestablishing this as my central goal for upcoming meets. I want there to be no doubts among new and existing members that events I sponsor or attend will be something they can come to and not worry about the people they might meet.

    ---------------

That said, I want to say that Saturday was a major success for the group I went with. 4 - 5 rigs, no body damage, a satisfying amount of trail, and good people. We had some new faces with close-to-stock rigs that dominated the trails, showing just how good their vehicles can be. Big grins, big confidence boosters - I was super pumped with all we accomplished.

Thanks for everyone who attended, and I hope to see you for the TSF meet next month. If you thought that Tahuya was fun - TSF is immensely larger, has more challenges, and has incredible photographic opportunities!

Well said Mike  Please don't think your reputation is tarnished in any way, but I can definitely relate to how you feel. While I had a great time Saturday night, I think we all drank too much and it directly affected our ability to finish out our plans (especially me ). For me personally, I felt that I let you guys down and it was really unacceptable. Needless to say, I won't be bringing alcohol to any future events, and I hope I didn't give anyone a bad first impression.

Either way, I had a great time, and met some great new people. Looking forward to TSF next month!!!

See, I'd have been concerend had you guy sshowed up at Safeway all hung over... ;) Smarter move wasexactly what you all did. Sure, live, learn, etc...

Bottom line - I still remain impressed with every single person I met on Saturday...well, there were a few rednecks in the woods, but other than that, I'm pretty pleased to know ya'll.

That said, I still plan to judge everyone anytime they get stuck, need a towstrap, or a winch...or even when they just need a rock and a block of wood stuffed under their tires...LOL :D
