    Sniff around the lift/suspension section, get familiar with it, then go with either the Billy/Eibach setup or the OME/885 setup. If you want to get in a little deeper, adjustable coilovers are available from a handful of places as well.

    You could get Bilsteins + Rear AAL for cheaper than that.

    The more i read about all the options and ways to lift a Tacoma 3 inches the more confused i get !!! grr lol .
    How is the ride with useing the Bilsteins and aal ?

    A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
    That SJ lift is the same as a Bilstein minus the ability to adjust the perch. The SJ perch is already there yeilding the lift.

    Can someone elaborate on why they feel Skyjacker lifts are so terrible??

    Just a few little things. It's my DD
    Just buy a spacer lift!!! They work fine! Not had any problems with mine and I have 30k miles on it with many off road trips!

    This specific thread, that is a year and a half old... references a strut lift that is more expensive than the preferable Bilstein 5100 lift.
