36sq.ft will do one layer on the back wall and one layer on the floor for a dub cab.

I've never heard anything bad about it plus is recommended by lots of people on other forums. I got a roll of it for my truck. Its just like dynamat plus its cheaper then the secondskin stuff.

Ok i was reading their deal offered to TW members and got turned off by this

I understood it as you need to use twice as much to acheive what you get with other products. As an actual user of it mind to debunk my assumptions?

Just want to make sure everyone knows that there is already a tacomaworld discount on Raammat. It is pretty good stuff too, and I believe is less expensive than even this group buy price.

2 rolls of Raammat gives just over 120 SQFT for about 220 before shipping
1 roll at the group buy price + and extra 20 sqft of damplifier is 250 before shipping.

They are the very similar products (both butyl rubber at around 1.52 mm of thickness with a layer of aluminum to bind it together).

What Rick is talking about are how some products are infact thicker and you pay for that extra thickness. Damplifier pro being about 2.25 mm thick which is 50% thicker and about 63% more expensive per sqft. You are looking at $4.45/sqft. A double layer of BXT would be $3.50/sqft and you'd have 50% more material than the damplifier.

Where an application would warrant extra dampening, such as a particularly large area of door panel, you can just use two layers of BXT and achieve the same or better effect without paying the premium for a less efficient product application. The other issue is that thicker products are typically a little bit harder to install, especially conforming them around the bends in body panels and the supports. Installing a single layer on top of a base layer that was already conformed is a bit easier.

BTW, I am not affiliated with Rick in any way other than I have used his product in the past and was happy with it.

I read a write-up that showed Damplifier/d-pro by Second Skin was definitely the best.
    I just ordered 36.5 ft.
You don't want to know what shipping to Hawaii costs!!
