Hostage situation about a mile from my job!!

Yeah, so this went down today about a mile from the hospital I work at. They went on high security alert, locked things down, and took in some of the casualties apparently. Luckily I was sitting in a network closet on the other side of the city and just heard about it over the phone. Just glad I didn't have to go out that way on a call.

Actually, I'm about 15-20 miles outside Binghamton, but there aren't any jobs where I live. lol

Yeah, I don't know what the link is either. I'd say the bastard shoulda been hung, but what's the point? He killed himself anyway. Just too bad he couldn't have been taken out before he killed anyone. I'd say this might make people want to get handguns for self defense, but the way our elected officials think I only see this causing more laws to make it more difficult for law abiding citizens to own them.

Well hell, it's only about 70 miles from Elk Mountain to my house. lol What are you doing this weekend?
