    Hello TW!
Glad to be able to join this fine bunch of upstanding law biding citizens, and the Outlaws too!
I picked this little jewel up for about a quarter of the book value. Knowing it had a blown head gasket, from the pillar of white smoke bellowing from the exhaust. But it ran and the AC blew COLD! Kind of important down here in Texas. I wanted to log in and start asking questions as soon as I found this site. I refrained and got through the heads coming off and going to the machine shop. The rebuild and start up has went well. Now I'm trying to work the bugs out. I can't wait to get this thing going so I can go to some meets and experience the ability of these little trucks.
Thanks to whomever uploaded the service manual, it helped me through the head gasket replacement. It gives a lot of information that the Chilton just leaves out. Being Free was even better!
So here is the Green Taco now. She has a few issues, but the frame is good and its a Toyota! As of now she has a new radiator, water pump, Timing belt and only did the head clean up and resurface with valve regrind and a pressure test. She runs good with some high or low idle issues and I'm not sure about the cooling system. So those will be my first questions. Thanks for everyone's contribution to this site.
