Can't get gas in my truck! LOL

Hey bunkerboy, I took my truck to toyota and they said my charcoal canister was plugged. It is about 330 piece! Then add labor and it is about 500 bucks... so you are lucky if you have been issue free since it was acting up. I dont want to spend 10 minutes+ each fillup so I will have them replace it. And its even worse because a private repair shop said with emission related parts they typically have to be replaced by original manufactor parts...
A side note, this problem did cause my check engine light to come on.
What an F'ing waste

I guess I really am lucky, since the problem has still not recurred. How often do problems fix themselves?? My check engine light is on too, but it's been on for the last 100,000 miles or more so I doubt it's related.
