I just bought a new to me 2007 Tacoma, it's the base model no power windows or door locks, i was wondering if this thing might have the "brains" already installed for a keyless entry? I once bought a used Honda crv that later on I found out already had the brain installed for a keyless entry system, all you has to do was buy the remotes and program them, I learned this of course AFTER the dealer sold me a after market system. This is one reason why I hate and don't trust dealers! I am guessing this truck doest have that ability.but I was wondering if there was a easy way to tell? I owned a Toyota truck way back in 1985 , and drove it 175k until it was stolen and I never got it back , it was the best vehicle I ever owned by a mile, hoping this new truck is the same.
